Young ambassadors

The history

CompanYoung’s collaboration with COOP aimed to create awareness among youth about the enterprise and the career opportunities their apprenticeship program offers. There was a need for exposure optimisation via the platforms important to the youth, meaning CompanYoung took on the challenge of increasing COOP’s presence on social media. We created a Facebook page for COOP to share important knowledge of the apprenticeship program through young ambassadors within the company. The ambassadors continuously uploaded moments and shared information about their everyday life as an apprentice in COOP, using the Facebook page as an outlet.

The social media page is part of a full, year-round media plan and CompanYoung is responsible for keeping COOP’s apprenticeship program visible on different channels, e.g. on different job portals and near the top of Google searches. We believe the year-round media plan is important in order to strengthen the brand and increase youth awareness. CompanYoung has further assisted in optimising different content directed at youth. The right content is important – we believe it holds great value for COOP, and it is why contributing to their recruitment process with our expertise in social media channels has been so successful.

Companyoung definitely stays up to date on the online behaviour of the youth!”
